Implementasi Metode Double Exponential Smoothing pada Prediksi Jumlah Mahasiswa FTIK Jurusan Tadris Matematika yang menjadi Pengunjung Perpustakaan IAIN Pekalongan

The IAIN Pekalongan Library is located in the middle of the IAIN Pekalongan Campus, Central Java Province, Indonesia. Library visitor data from students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK) majoring in Mathematics Tadris at IAIN Pekalongan from year to year has changed significantly. The purpose of this study is to examine the prediction of the number of FTIK students in the Department of Mathematics Tadris at IAIN Pekalongan who are visitors to the library of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Pekalongan using the Double Exponential Smoothing method in 2022-2025. This research approach uses a quantitative approach and the data obtained from this study was analyzed using the double exponential smoothing method using EViews software version 12. The most frequently used method of measuring forecasting accuracy is mean absolute percentage error (MAPE). A data model will perform very well if the MAPE is below 10%. The results of the analysis showed that the double exponential smoothing method of Holt with parameters and has the smallest MAPE of 0.084%.
