Abstract

This study aims to describe students' critical thinking skills through distance learning of students in working on math problems. The results of tests and interviews were analyzed based on indicators of critical thinking skills. This research is qualitative research where the data is analyzed using the stages of analysis of the Miles and Huberman model. where data analysis according to this model includes reduction (data reduction), data display (data presentation) and verification (conclusion). The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling technique, this is done by taking the subject not based on strata, random or area but based on a certain goal. The results of this study indicate that students' critical thinking skills in doing math problems only reach low criteria, this is evidenced from 4 samples only 25% who achieve completeness with an average value of 69.5. Overall, students can only achieve indicators in critical thinking, namely formulating problems in questions, so that students' critical thinking skills during distance learning become less good.
