Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: The difference in the improvement of mathematical problem solving abilities of students who received generative learning assisted by the Zenius application and conventional learning. The difference in the achievement of mathematical problem solving abilities of students who receive generative learning assisted by the Zenius application with conventional learning is reviewed based on Early Mathematics Knowledge (PAM). The difference in increasing students' mathematical self-confidence who received generative learning assisted by the Zenius application with conventional learning. This research method is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group. The sample of this study consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class which amounted to 16 people and the control class amounted to 15 people. The results of this study are: There is no increase in the mathematical problem solving ability of students who receive generative learning assisted by the Zenius application and those who receive conventional learning. There is no achievement of mathematical problem solving ability of students who receive generative learning assisted by Zenius application with conventional learning. There was no increase in the mathematical self-confidence of students who received generative learning assisted by the Zenius application with conventional learning.
